Picture of the 80+ years old cuckoo clock before repair and restoration. The wooden pediments have broken and some parts are glued with crude commercial adhesives. Both the bellows are damaged thus there is no 'cuckoo' sound at the hour and the half.
To Do:
Restore the case, cleaning and filing off the old adhesive and rejoining the broken parts. Complete burnishing of the clock case while retaining the rustic feel and appearance. Repair, total cleaning of the mechanism, reassembly, lubrication and put clock back to beat. Replace 2 bellows and weight chains .
